VP-16 crashes w/ nested title segment and solid color

I can't open the file without Vegas 16. I was able to do as you described in Vegas 15 with ProType Titler without incident. Curious about the solid color event, though.

I noticed that the .veg you posted only has 5 tracks of text and does not include the Generated media Solid Color.

Also, I don't understand what you mean by "'Generated media (Black Solid Color' RGB (RxB) R )" or why you even need this since the background is already black?

working correctly (VP 16.0 build 361).

Downloaded your project.
Placed your black generated media into track 6, then save.
Placed this veg as nested into new project. Save.
Opened correctly all of veg files.

@xberk look into project media window, there is black generated media

In VPro 16 I could not trigger some kind of a crash, if you meant something like this

I was not accurate about the number of text lines, but that does not matter. The solid color generated media event is in a separate track at the bottom. See screenshot. The nested file was originally created in VP-9 but updated in VP-16 if that has anything to do with it .
Another questions since I'm on a roll: There is a white box in the audio waveform display, with no text. This is a marker that was created in Sound Forge Pro 12. Is this a 'normal' display?

@rraud I'm curious about the use of the 'solid color generated media'. Are you placing this nested title over a lower track and then resizing the intro for PIP effect? Again I have tried multiple ways to trip up your nest intro and it works regardless!

However VP-16 seems to be behaving ok now. Last night I closed and opened VP, and even shutdown and cold-started the PC, neither of which made any difference. Same behavior this morning. This afternoon it is not crashing, The only thing I did was a test render, now it does not crash when the generated media in directly under the nest file/event... puzzling.

Any idea why VP-16 is not displaying the audio file's embedded marker name. My previous versions of VP displayed it.
