VP14 : NewBlueFX Titler Pro 4 not stable

Anyone find NewBlueFX Titler Pro 4 not stable? (already installed since VP13 days)

If you put new default preset to timeline, it works, but if you double click from the gallery inside quick edit of Titler Pro, then close, the Vegas Pro 14 UI freeze.

Please make sure you are on the newest build of Titler Pro 4. Please also pass any instructions to duplicate what you are seeing to support at newblueinc.com.

I noticed that the upgrade version includes Titler Pro 3 and not version 4. Hopefully that is a typo. Does anyone know if version 3 is stable with Vegas?

That is not a typo. The Vegas Pro 14 comes with a Titler Express version and the suite comes with a bundled Titler Pro 3 version. It is not the retail installer but, instead, a bundled installer.

How do you get the titler pro 3? I bought pro 14 suite, and it doesn't have any of the additional software in it...

In the last year I paid for the upgrade to NBTP4Ultimate.

Following the advise from NB via a support ticket I downloaded the VP14 compliant version of NBTP4Ultimate. Result? It is less than stable, missing controls and oblivious of my Templates. I've got an open ticket with NewBlue which both Edward and Caleb are aware of. Added to which I get the NewBlue software update manager informing me of a new update being available. Really? It would appear that the NB Update Manager is oblivious of this later most recent VP Compliant Update.

I'm seriously considering rolling back to the NBTP4Ultimate for VP13 which had worked, for my needs to get professional animated titles out to my local government client and let VP14 not be part of the mix. I can't afford to look less than capable with this work. I'm sure NEWBLUE will get this fixed. As NewBlue are embedded partners with MAGIX, I'm hoping this can only insure a speedy and reliable outcome.

I've rolled back to an iteration that did and does work and that will only be in VP13 not MAGIX VP14.

I'm getting the NewBlue Update manager notifacation informaing me thatn there is an update, but until somebody, NB+MAGIX, confirms that it will work and staying put.

Now in Media Generator it is written as 'NewBlue Titler Pro Express', however, Titler Pro 4 still not yet functional, even after I tried remove them.

Everytime I have tried New Blue Titler with the hopes of it becoming my titler of choice I've alway found it unstable. So I'm not surprised to see this posting. I have never used it with another editing program so perhaps it fine with those but it just does not seem to work with Vegas. Am I wrong?

NB Titler Pro 4 has been very stable for me in VP 13. In VP14, it hangs when trying to exit the quick edit screen back to the timeline. At this point the plugin dialog box that launched Titler Pro is greyed out and unresponsive. If I go to TaskManager and End Program to VP14, then I get a prompt to save my project and then exit. When I go back into VP14, my title is there. If I go into Title Designer rather than the quick interface, it did return back to the timeline normally. I was thinking it may be related to VP14 having the express version of Titler and that was impacting the Quick Edit of Titler Pro4 that I already had installed as a standalone and plugin. Part of this mess could be that I chose to upgrade to VP14 Edit as I already had VP13 Pro and Mercalli v4. I really doubted they would change DVDA in this short time since the announcement and I was able to burn a BluRay just fine last night with DVDA Pro 6.
