VP16pro Stabilizer horrible compared to previous versions?

After deliberating for weeks I finally bit the bullet and uninstalled VP14pro and VP15pro. I'm pretty happy so far but the much hyped stabilizer has seen me go to Mercalli plugin. Anyone else having the same poor results?
