I use vegas pro 15 and when I put videos on, a weird ticking/popping noise appears. And it applies to the video when I render it. How do I fix this? I attached the original video and the rendered video to show the problem.
Have you tried to select a different audio device type under Options / Preferences / Audio device?

I hear a couple of tics. I do not know where they would come from. Are there any plug-ins being used? Does this also happen if your render as an audio-only PCM file. Try re-rendering with a constant bit rate for the audio. As well, you might try encoding setting at 44.1kHz (sample rate) since that what the original file is.
