I'm on Vegas Pro 21 on Windows 11

I downloaded a font awhile back to use on a playbill for a play I wrote. The play had a baseball theme, so I downloaded a font named Bosox Revised. I used the font in MS Word and GIMP with no problems.

I'm trying to use it with one of the video media generators, Backward Scrolling, Primary Colors. Almost everything works, with 2 exceptions. The dash at any point size, and the Uppercase W at 36 points. The W I can work around, but the dash (-) shows up like a 3-sided door frame, with an open bottom.

The dash shows up this way, regardless of font size. As I said, I used this font in Word and GIMP and the dash is fine.

The W turns into a squiggle at 36 points, but is fine at 35 or 37.
