This is ridiculous. I've never seen a site, especially a corporate site, that had as may problems as often as this one does.

Tom Pauncz wrote on 4/16/2008, 6:10 PM
Hmmm .. haven't seen any problems at all today. In fact very little, if any, in the past little while. Other than the search everyone's complained about.

You're right, with Foxfire it looks normal. But in IE it's all srewed around--layout and font--and I'm getting "error on page" messages.

When I was here earlier this afternoon, everything was fine.

Hi all,

If you're seeing a problem with this website, please let us know via our website support form. It'll send us some additional information that assists us in troubleshooting.

I'm not able to reproduce the problems mentioned here on any of three computers and 7 browsers, so any additional information you can enter on the web support form would be helpful. (What OS, browser, and browser version number are you using? Do you see problems on all pages of the site, or just one page? If one page, what address? Are you running any web security apps or browser add ons?).

The site stalled out (totally non-responsive) for a few minutes on several occasions, earlier today (about 10:00 a.m. PDT, I think).

Looks like CSS is disabled in Explorer 7/xp. Firefox looks okay.

Bizarre . .

FA? I have sent you an email AND used the Form. I have a PNG of just exactly what I am getting now. How do I send it to you?

I now have a long feature/product and ALL SONY creative sites/pages as HOT links appearing above the Forum postings. In fact what I first saw this this morning, I thought ALL the Forums had been removed I had to scroll down several window lengths to get to the head of the Forum and THEN again to the Postings.

I have a PNG of several of screen-grabs "stitched" together to demonstrate just how inconvenient it now is. How do I can send it to you?

Regards

Grazie

Only people that live on the board seem to be peeved the most. You need to get out more.

To causal visitors like myself, no biggie.

Firefox looks just the same to me. The first thing that stands out is the fonts, suggesting that CSS is broken. You can also do drop-down menus in CSS (I think. Haven't actually done it) so that might be why all the menu items are showing as plain text.

If they just moved to a new server there might have been a configuration change. For instance, newer versions of IIS won't include ssi from parent directories. That might have broken the link to their stylesheets, or to JS files that choose the style sheets.

There is a World ? Outside this Forum? Nooo... can't be!! I have EVERYTHING I want just here. Fine people, just like your good self, with strong opinions on things I like doing. As it happens I do have a hard copy lever arch folder containing many of the most wonderful postings I've read, and might I add too, ones that, immodestly I know, I have scribed myself. Hey, why not come around some time share a glass of Mateus Rose and some soft Brie and I will let you thumb your way through my "Lever-Arch".

A world outside this Forum? You HAVE to be jesting! Surely???

The offer still stands - but the wine IS getting warm and the "cheese" is starting to ripen, run and acquiring a bit of a whiff - y'know, having been "inside" all this time . . .

Best regards,

Grazie

Long time everyday Vegas- and VMS-forum user on Win Explorer.

I have seen no problems reading the fora - no problems in the menus and - no problems in the My Account or other sections.

Of course I do see problems with Explorer - especially like sometimes after updating Windows XP - but a quick Restore brings it on the track again - and then I wait a month or two and before trying the update one more time... :-)
Last troubles came from updating the Windows Live -thing - now it is om my list for trying again sometimes at the end of May.

well i have no idea, but the site is truly f-upped!!!

i'm getting all menus displaying in one column one entry after another.

font size is HUGE!

and i'm not going to have to fill-in a whole series of boxes via the support page just to complain about the website.....

i have to say this is pretty poor site maintenance from whoever is in charge. i do a little bit of web design, but i check my sites on everything, including a couple of macs....

ps. winxp sp3 firefox 20014 - and same problem 10minutes ago with 20013
