The Problem.
Only one audio track (specifically the first one) is added to the timeline (there are four total audio tracks that are paired with one video track). I can work around this by importing into an external software (audacity) and exporting the tracks separately and then importing each of them into Vegas. Is there a way to fix this? FYI: The file-type is ".mp4".

AFAIK, you can't do this directly in Vegas. However, you can using the ImportAssist tool in HappyOtterScripts. Here are a couple of screen grabs showing the selection of streams to import and the result of importing 9 audio streams.

There’s a Pref for loading as ONE audio track. Maybe this has bearing on the matter?
