When importing video media in the time bar the image and sound are sep

When importing video events in the timeline events appear with separate picture I sound.
How can you fix it?
And if I try to join them again, I can't.
The selection with the control button and the letter H does not re-join them.

I can't imagine where you are talking about, so maybe read first this under B and handle following it.

Video and audio are always separate (but grouped) elements in Vegas Pro. There is no way around.

@josep-c What Marco says is also the situation in the trimmer of all Vegas versions where you probably are talking about.
