Which file are preferences stored in?

Ah, no wonder I couldn't find the file. I would have expected it to be in "documents and settings". Thanks for the info.

Is it practical to backup Vegas' preferences and settings?
Is there an automated way to do that?
If I wanted to restore Vegas preferences from a registry backup, which parts of the registry would I need to restore?
