White screen when trying to use FX

As the title suggests I'm having a weird issue when trying to access FX where it just comes up with a white box instead of any options. I recently reformatted my PC and this is only happening now. I'm using Vegas Pro 18 and windows 10.

@TobyS You could try a full reset of Vegas as described here, point 14.
