Why does ProTitler want me to learn a new workflow

Dang, three in a row...

Nevermind, I found a bar and set of point that control the gradient. They are on the actual text box and not part of the gradient colors. Allows to change the angle of the gradient also.

...but the lack of the mouse right click action is maddening.

I think ProType titler is made by people who only have one button on their mice :- )

< You can switch the colors to RGB ><busterkeaton>
I cannot find this in the manual. Please elaborate.
TIA

Mahesh, when I CLICK on HSV within the Color fill for Style - for example - I get a dropdown menu of 2 options one is HSV the other is for RGB.

There is a similar option HSV<>RGB for the default for Preview Background too. And no, I didn't read the "manual"!

There are lots of things you can't find in the manual.

Should we use this thread to enumerate them? I would like to hear the ProType Titler workflow enumerated step by step.

I haven't had much time to play with ProType Titler (now I got the name right.), ok I've made my text slide in from the left and curve back out to the top left corner, the letters slid underneath each other at the curve. Very cool. I don't get the dropping curves on top curves thing yet.

Can you do a negative path? Meaning can text come in from the left, go out the right and then come back on screen? OK. I've found out how to do this, but I still let other folks explian it

So here's the challenge How would you do the following?
Text comes in from left to right, as it does it grows in size. It then curves up and out of frame and then comes back down into frame returning to original size, before it gets out of frame it it blurs for a second. So the path kind of looks like the symbol for ohm.

Text has a gradient and a drop shadow on it.

Ok, I've found how to make adjustments to the path.

One issue is it's very hard to tell the keyframes of the path from the bezier curve handles.

Yes.

The on screen PATH curve has a position slider. Also PATH's variation "curve", within the timeline, can be pulled UP = forwards and pulled DOWN = reverse. The curve for PATH is a positional curve. I know it takes sometime in getting one's head around it - but this "other" way of thinking is getting normal for me!!!

So, the OHM thingy is a great challenge! I'm up for that one!!

Thanks G. I made the mistake of going to the manual first.
This is better than sudoku.
Now, how do I position the text line-3 in relation to text line 1?
