Will installing V pro 19 (550) over write a later build (636)

Dear all,

Due to the many problems I have with Vegas build 636, I'd like to go back to the previous build (550), which had no issues at all, I know that 550 will not open projects saved in 636, but I don't care.

The question: Will Installing the earlier build (550) overwrite the newer build (636)? I'd like to keep 636, wating for a new update that will solve all the issues.

Thanks!

"Will Installing the earlier build (550) overwrite the newer build (636)?"

It should.

You don't have to keep 636 to install any future updates to Vegas Pro 19. If you would like to keep working with 636 while you continue to work with 550, build a Windows 10 dual boot system.

If you don't understand how to build a dual boot system, just back down to 550 and wait.

You should be saving Windows system images so you don't get yourself into this mess.

You cannot install build 550 over 636. You will have to completely uninstall and then install 550. I've, personally, found build 636 to be the most stable build yet.

Dual boot!! Great idea. I remember having an extra win10 licence somewhere. Thanks!
