Window Selection Disappearing

Hello,

I'm not sure what to call this annoying little issue I've been having. Basically in certain little selection windows I try to click on something and once I move my cursor to try and select anything in that window it vanishes leaving a highlighted portion that sometimes I can click on. It happens a lot in the color grading feature and explorer window. I recorded a vid to show since I don't know if I made any sense. It really drives me nuts! I cannot select a LUT at all. A fix would be welcome! -Thanks

I know what's wrong with that, but you must find it out by yourself.

It's one programme that activated his hot-keys and thus made conflict against VEGAS.

I had once this translation programme with activated hot-keys, and VEGAS reacted just like yours.

Forbidden them!

Another suspect could be Graphic hotkeys should you have them active.

So its a hotkey issue? I don't have anything special setup. I tried to disable Win hotkeys but its not an option for Home users. Guess Ill just work around it if I can't figure it out soon. Its so irritating.

Watching your video it appears you are solely using mouse clicks not the keyboard so doubtful it's a hot key issue?

Anyone have any NEW ideas what could be causing this issue?? I hate that I can't use the LUT features and vid properties, among other things, simply because it disappears upon highlighting.

I don't think its a hot key issue since I'm hovering with my mouse over the drop down menus. (Not using hot keys at all doing this) I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, tested out settings within Vegas but it still persists. This isn't a problem on my work PC that only uses integrated graphics (and is much slower), but it is on my personal PC with Nvidia GPU. I keep my drivers updated but could something be conflicting with the settings from my GPU?? I'm so stuck and frustrated by this little bug.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

@theNightFuryfan95 Have you tried a full reset? It's worth trying if you haven't. Uninstalling and re-installing won't clear the cache. Follow the instructions in this post, point 14. Make sure you check the option to clear the cache and make a note of your preferences.

@Jack S Okay. I just tried that, deleting all the cache too, but it didn't fix the issue unfortunately.

It could also just be a stuck key on the keyboard (esc? enter? ...)

I don't think so. Looking at my keyboard all the keys are good. Besides, Id be having problems elsewhere with stuck keys.
