I can confirm the behavior at karma17. Vegas Pro 18, version 334

Confirmed, Vegas Pro 18, build 334. Same in VP17, not in VP15.
Workaround mark the text in "Verdana" and than change to the desired WinDings

It is build 334. I can workaround it if I enable Legacy Text and use Legacy Text. It might seem like a small thing but I did a whole video about the usefulness of these wing ding things! LOL. Should it be reported? Thanks!
