XAVC-I Double Mono Glitch in VLC Also?

MartinE wrote on 3/15/2017, 4:28 AM

I've started using XAVC-I as a DI. Now we know Handbrake can't read the stereo audio but I can't get the VLC player to see it either, I just get two mono channels. Anyone know if there's a fix in VLC for this. It's no big deal really but it's nice to be able to review the file in a player with correct sound. Is there another player that would hack it?

I have a similar interest in XAVC-I. Though not a full-screen player, the Canon XF Utility handles the audio properly and allows one to at least see the video (admittedly, not in all its splendor).

Catalyst Browse is free and will play XAVC-I just fine.
