Youtube stuck at 1% uploading

Hello!

This issue is driving me crazy and I do not know what to make of it.

Issue:

When I render ANYTHING in sony vegas using the MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4 or MAGIX HEVC/AAC MP4 it renders fast and perfectly. But when I go to upload the file to youtube it gets stuck at 1% and never goes up.

Now, when I render this same file but use the .WMV format, it uploads to youtube perfectly with no problems at all and fast! So I can only render my videos using .WMV because of this.

How can I fix this? I even tried to render a random 5 second raw video with nothing added to it. I used .mp4 and again it would not upload to youtube at all. But when I use .wmv it works with no issues.

This is not a youtube issue, it is an issue with vegas pro and the mp4 format. I am using the latest version of vegas 20.

Do you have the "Enable Progressive Download" box checked in the render dialog? It cuts the upload / processing time in half by placing the moov atom at the beginning of the file, so Youtube can start processing immediately, rather than waiting for the upload to complete.

WMV is a dead format. MP4 files should get there assuming a good connection.

@MAZ78844 Presumably these mp4 files play perfectly on your PC? Please confirm.
