Youtube upload quality

brandon-oh wrote on 10/7/2018, 5:04 PM

Okay, so I just started making videos for youtube and were wondering what the best settings would be for rendering/capturing. I've been noticing that my footage looks less crisp and blurry compared to gameplay footage from other uploaders, and I don't know if it's the capture card I have or if it really is the settings.

I'm willing to post what I have (either the raw video or what we uploaded to youtube). I have very little experience with recording/capturing/editing in general and have tried to look up specific tutorials and troubleshooting videos, but I feel as though I need more targeted help.

If a tree fell in the woods and the average target bit rate was 20,000,000 bps and the maximum target bit rate was 20,000,000 bps would the resulting output really be have a variable bit rate?

Please post the Mediainfo for your source media. There are "truths" in life that are exposed in this thread.
