RE: VEGAS PRO 22 HAVE THE WORST AV1 DECODING: CHROMA SUBSAMPLING 4:1:0
@vagnerdesouza I don't want to be rude but the GTX 1050 isn't capable of decoding AV1 so there is something wrong with your decoding test: https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new I am not recommending a new GPU.

RE: Av1 GPU Encoding
@Resoula The answer is probably no. I observed no Nvenc/Intel/AMD/ HW encoding activity in TM. For a 27s UHD test clip that takes 26.53 seconds in VP to render it takes 7.39 seconds using ffmpeg with Nvenc HW encoding. That's a 3.6 x speed increase

RE: VP22 support Nvidia NVENC with AV1 ?
I while back I compared nvidia hardware renders on my 4090 via Voukoder with the vp22 default Magix av1 renders which are slower and cpu only. I still have the clips laying around. The reference clip I used was the one in this thread in which

RE: AV1 render fails w/ "The reason for the error could not be determined"
Interesting, haven't seen that. Are you working in 32-bit mode (I notice you have 10-bit footage so assume yes but which mode? ACES?)Not a solution but for AV1 I'd only render through Voukoder as it can tap into hardware renderers that are pretty

RE: VRAM Bottleneck in Vegas Pro 22 – Considering GPU Upgrade to RX 7900 X
Glad to assist if my hardware fits your requirements. See my signature. Using ffmpeg ... I have tested AV1 some time ago across all 3 devices, Intel, AMD and Nvidia with respect to quality. Not speed because my Intel A770 gpu resides in a 4x slot

RE: Best Render Settings for Sony ZV-E10 In Vegas Pro 22? (1080P 30)
With Youtube, as well as with most streaming services, the limiting factor is their delivery bitrate ceiling, and not the bitrate of the source you sent to them. I get that. I have no expectation that the bitrate will be anything but the YouTube

RE: DebugMode FrameServer 6.0 Available for V22
@wwaag Here are the 2 command lines I used for the ffv1 renders... just the input and output names change for ffmpeg direct and dmfs renders. I move the # comment from one to the other to execute them from the same fs.ps1 powershell script

I'm not sure I know what I'm doing but on my i9-13980HX / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, I changed the Voukoder default template to "AV1 (NVIDIA NVENC)" and the render seemed to work just fine. ...Jerry

[Solved] One A/V track AC3, not synced to video - Other cam is in mono
Two problems: first track the audio (AC3) isn't synced the video. Second track is an imported AV that the (Panasonic) cam down mixes 5.1 to stereo. When putting it on the track it puts out all 6 audio tracks with one of the tracks is the stereo

RE: GPU makers AMD and NVIDIA are finally solving their audio issues
@Cielspacing which AMD GPU do you have? I looked at your User Profile, and it's blank. Suggestion, add your computer specs to your Signature as I've did below. If there are issues, the first place I look is to see what hardware is being used. I

RE: Vegas suddenly down want to import any movie files I download
The files may be encoded as VP9 which is good for streaming but barely supported for editing. If it's AV1 it should open in VEGAS 22 (but may not be great for editing either).Check with MediaInfo.

RE: Bit Rate as a Function of Complexity: Constant Rate Factor Encoding
I'm not sure that variable-cap bit-rate optimization, which was developed for Avc HD lossy camera footage, does much but lower performance and quality for 4k and above. 4k 10-bit avc is so large, slower editing, and lower in quality, I only shoot or
