RE: Feature Request - HEIC Unrecognized By Vegas Pro19 SlideshowCreator
... when i tried opening these HEIC files inc the ones i created & put in the Google drop box, Windows asked me to pay 0.79p & install a codec for them, @Former user I don't think I had to pay for the HEIF drivers on the Microsoft

RE: Vegas 8k voucoder render not able to reload back into vegas ...why?
So what does encoding my 8k version in AV1 mean? I haven't realised it was even in AV1 format 😄, do I get a choice over that anywhere? why only a small % see it smoothy, is that because of file size? How do I get it into a better format (I assume

RE: Play back lagging at 422 10bit
You're missing the point here. Vegas users are noticing, *on their existing systems*, that free players like VLC seem to effortlessly provide stutter-free playback of files (like 100Mbps GoPro 5k HEVC) that give VP fits in any preview mode (auto,

RE: Help needed choosing new GPU
My GPU was flat at the bottom pretty much during render & playback wasn't much better, it looked similar to others photos i saw online 😒, playback cache time of the timeline was the same as all other programs, Render times were nothing to talk

RE: Enabling Hardware Decoder allows H.265 HVEC - but kills H.264 AVC
It scrubs and edits nicely as would be expected from all Intra AVC with decode on or off (for me) but on a 50fps project the decoder is running 100% capacity when I conform the xt3 and xt4 files to 50fps, with dropped frames. On a media player 4K

RE: Vegas 8k voucoder render not able to reload back into vegas ...why?
ok that is really interesting. I just checked my originals that I uploaded as those resolution differences seemed wrong. They were both created and uploaded at 8192 x 4096 res. 360 degree has to be 2:1 ratio. Now I'm really confused!! It's like the

Voukoder-10-2 Works fine Vegas 19 Pro too (Free Vegas Render Plugin)
voukoder-10 is a true GPU accelrated Free Plugin to render your video in H.265 in addition to H.264 and the speed and quality is a true exceptional beyond expectation. Also I have tried new AV1 or VP9 Codec with High file size compression. That mean

RE: Vegas 8k voucoder render not able to reload back into vegas ...why?
soz that was a bit of a rushed panic response as uploading an 8k atm. I had seen the VP09 had been used for the hi res but didn't think the 8k would be any different to the 4k, nothing in youtube help text I saw mentioned it, but as you have pointed

RE: Vegas 8k voucoder render not able to reload back into vegas ...why?
So, if I can pester you again. what would be the best format to render in to upload into youtube? Would there be a difference given youtube compresses it, whatever, with its VP09 codec or would the HVEC option somehow give better results? One

RE: Vegas Pro can handle WEBP files!
That is interesting thanks, Vegas also loads HEIF photos from my phone camera, it also loads Vorbis audio as .ogg , but it won't load Vorbis audio in mkv container (as audio track for a video) On the disappointment side, it doesn't load opus audio

RE: Continuous Bugs and Crashes in Vegas Pro 19--Is It Just Me?
Good idea. There's nothing unusual about my media or what I'm trying to do that I can tell. I'm using an Apple QuickTime MP4 video clip in an MOV wrapper @ 1080p 30fps. Nothing unusual. The crashes that I can reproduce at will have to do with just

. In truth, however, I was a little disappointed by the small impact it contributes to ffmpeg performance with an 11900k when enabled in bios. And the advantage is only for software encoded X265 and who does that? HEVC,VP9,AV1 , if I can't hardware

If you haven't been able to work out the problem yet, uploaded your sample file to google drive, DropBox etc I could check if i'm seeing the same thing and how best to handle file. For a low frame rate 4K AVC MXF It should work as it is, should

RE: Information for Future Build or Purchase

RE: GH5 HEVC + VP19
I wouldn't call HEVC high performance, it takes quite a lot to decode it, and if your GPU doesn't support decoding it, then you definitely won't be editing it without proxies. Hevc is clearly very hardware demanding but the advantage is that it's

RE: GH5 HEVC + VP19
Maybe I am wrong but I think that the industry-standard device for GPU decoding of video for editors is NVIDIA and not Intel QSV so I am not sure why they would overlook NVIDIA decoding for a codec used by Panasonic's very popular GH5 line. I know
