RE: Retainig Event Effects during multi-camera editing in Vegas 18 pro
I'll just mention, that in the recent push survey, I made the feature request for event-level FX in Multicam. Multicam combines several videos into one event (as takes), so it's impossible to retain event effects (use media effects). This is how it

RE: VEGAS Pro 18 & VEGAS POST Suite - General Discussion
... mmm _ have V15 and was debating on upgrading and multicam/audio sync is very important to me I upgraded to VP18 when it came out, coming from VP14. The multicam audio sync tool never worked for me. Simply unusable.

RE: VEGAS Pro 18 & VEGAS POST Suite - General Discussion
Just upgraded from Vegas Pro 15 to 18. * The media window scrubber in/out thing is frustrating to use and I haven't found a way to turn it off. * The automatic multicam/audio sync tool has failed to produce a single correct result. Except once or

RE: So many crashes in Vegas Pro 18
I've done a couple of long multicam edit sessions with v18 build 334 without incident. I think it's getting closer to the latest v17 in stability. @Howard-Vigorita: Yup, I'm feeling the love too!

RE: DaviTools VideoWall for Magix Vegas Pro
Just what I was looking for. Wanted to experiment with a cellphone using it as a timecode clapperboard to sync multiple cameras but needed to see all the cameras at once like on a multicam track but with the source tracks intact so I can slide them

RE: Multicam & Audio Synch
I was just doing a project and tried using Vegas to sync linear timecode embedded in a video track from a zcam camera slaved to a SoundDevices 788t recorder which uses Ambient LTC. In Vegas, however, the "Synchronize Media Timecode to Align Events"

RE: Multicam & Audio Synch
I have to assume that 18 still accepts slaved SMPTE timecode with Genlock for the camera sync, regardless of their audio source. I see this as still the best way to sync multicam tracks, with PE or the new function being reserved for those outboard

RE: Multicam & Audio Synch
Auto-synch in Vegas Pro works either via the source's timecode or (similar as PluralEyes) via an automated analyze of the audio waveform. Both types of auto-synch are available via the Tools/Multicam menu.

RE: Multicam & Audio Synch
@ccliffy VP does sync, making a small selection of selected events on different tracks gives better results. Then "select "Synchronise Audio to align events". Then select all of the tracks and select "Create multicam track". Pluraleyes is better.

Multicam & Audio Synch
I am thinking of upgrading to Vegas pro 18 (from V14) and wondered if Vegas can synch multicam clips and additional audio source. I used to use V14 with Plural Eyes which worked like a charm. I know there is a multicam mode so you can see sources in
