RE: Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files.
Since the emulated games are being played on a PC, why not just use Open Broadcaster Software https://obsproject.com/download to do a screen capture rather than mess with an antiquated codec like xvid? I don't know about others, but I try to avoid

RE: I try to add a video on media but only shows seconds of it
I can't see enough of the video to discern its format, but it appears to be some sort of third party screen capture software or otherwise non-camcorder video. I'd recommend opening that video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to

RE: Script to ZOOM easily (for software tutorials production)
@jetdv Thanks for the directions to start developing the VEGAS script to perform the Camtasia-like Zoom. While I’m still learning how to develop a VEGAS script, I drafted an AutoHotkey (AHK) script to do the job for now. For anyone interested in

Which audio option did you select in your recording options? Can you post a screen capture of the preference screen with your audio and video selection displayed?

Vegas Screen Capture Not Recording Audio
Hello, I can't seem to get my Vegas Capture option to record the audio of the screen I'm trying capture. There is no MP3 or any audio file located in the captures folder along with the saved screen capture.

If you have an amd video board, Vegas screen capture probably won't work for you but the ReLive facility that's built into the amd driver works great.

RE: Vegas Pro 15 Has Stopped Working. Constant crashing.
@antoni-n Download and install build 416 for Vegas Pro 15. If your screen capture is anything like your error demo screen capture, it's variable frame rate by a wide margin. That's not going to work well in Vegas. Use a utility program like

https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo run that on your media. We only need one report per source of media... for instance, if you have a panasonic GH4, a sony A7s, and a Sony FS7, and one screen capture clip captured via OBS Studio we'd need 4 reports

RE: Vegas pro 17 Video lag
VFR is more for streaming. it can adapt to complexity and bitrate. What I have seen is when bitrate dives for unexpected reason and there is not enough bitrate to sustain 30fps or 60fps, the VFR will instead reduce frame rate to maintain quality.
