RE: Vegas Pro 17 / Screen Capture Audio / Video Out of Sync
@Musicvid Thanks for the suggestion to use OBS. I've tried several short captures with it. So far, so good, (on the capture part). However, I can't get Vegas Pro 17 to read my output file. Here is the file output info: GeneralComplete name

Vegas Pro 17 / Screen Capture Audio / Video Out of Sync
Hello Again Everyone. I'm having an issue with audio/video sync. I preformed a screen capture using a program called Debut by NCH software. I then placed the captured file on the Vegas Pro Timeline and preformed some very basic edits. The

Somebody said vegas pro supports multitrack audio capture, is it true?
I'm a supper newbie and I want to make a screen video with multiple audio tracks so that I can edit or remove either more easily afterwards. I see somebody said VP supports multitrack audio recording, and I didn't find any official tutorial on this,

RE: Can't capture USB web camera
Yes, to be clear, I was referring to the feature shown in j-v's post. Given the clarification, any thoughts on answers to my 3 questions? Regarding the suggestion of using screen capture - because VMS has the camera open and showing in the preview,

Indeed, the OP refers to the VEGAS Capture (Screen Capturing) feature in VMS 17 Platinum.

RE: Can't capture USB web camera
Thanks for the comment, although I am disappointed by it. Any suggestions for other tools to capture a web camera for importing into Vegas? If you have a picture of that webcam on your screen you can catch it with the free app OBS and for the better

Vegas Capture only works on first use
Vegas Pro 18 Build 284. I can use Vegas Capture successfully to record from my screen and external cameras, eg a Canon XA-10 connexed via CamLink 4K and USB 3. However, if I close Vegas Capture and re-open it all I get is a black screen where the

RE: Looking for advice transferring and editing Super 8mm film
Upscaling a video would look worse versus keeping the capturing, editing and rendering process in 4K. There is a large body of evidence that says this is incorrect. Hardware upscaling beats software upscaling. Now, let's try some fun facts. Super 8

RE: Looking for advice transferring and editing Super 8mm film
Don't expect pristine HD/4K. Years ago I worked out that the resolution of 8mm film was roughly equal to PAL SD. 16mm film was roughly equal to HD. My calculations were based on information I found indicating that a 35mm transparency was capable of

RE: Looking for advice transferring and editing Super 8mm film
There are different methods to capture film. If you use a film scanning service, you can get enough resolution to do ok at 720p HD, if you have your audience seated as far back from the tv screen as possible. Close examination will reveal it is all

    RE: Recommended Computer
Desktops are usually better $$$ value than laptops and provide much better options for future expansion. The Evoo 17 mentioned in my previous post is only 27% slower in Vegas benchmarks vs. my pricier 9900K / VEGA 64 desktop which scores near the

[Closed] A few things that would be nice to have incorporated into Vegas Pro
There are no doubt many things that Vegas Pro users want added into the software and I know that it's impossible to please everyone. But here are two that would seem reasonable and relatively easy to add in. 1/ An upgrade to the screen capture

RE: Screen Capture Error in VEGAS PRO 17.0
I installed this in July, 2020. Same as everyone else just about - no screen capture, can't parse the file while importing, and only get a little black box in the capture box of the PnP monitor. Apparently no fix, yet.

RE: Would Vegas Pro work with an integrated video card of a motherboard
In order to get video capture to work, I move my 1080P wide screen monitor to the MSI HDMI video port on the motherboard and kept the 4K on the RX480. And yes it will work with the 4K turned off.
