RE: Multicam Edit
How? Are you asking how to apply a FX to an event in the multicam track? If so, it works the same way as it does in a simple video track. Every "section", between two cuts or the beginning and end of the multicam track, are basically single events.

RE: VP15 (b261) - fundamental error when expanding tracks from multicam
While I almost never use fades in multicam editing, I also have to expand to seperate tracks for color correction, because I usually have lots of footage in P2 format, which sadly is not supported correctly by Vegas. Instead of recognizing the

RE: VP15 (b261) - fundamental error when expanding tracks from multicam
Hi, Thanks all for your comments. Yes - I certainly have learned to save versions. Especiall before going into multicam mode! If you remember the first ridiculous implementations of this feature you also might remember that there was no way back -

RE: VP15 (b261) - fundamental error when expanding tracks from multicam
Hi, Just finalizing an 1,5 hour multicam project. Done with editing of 4 cameras in the multicam mode for the first time. The majority of transition are 2 second fades. So far smooth sailing, just some crashes but I'm used to save

RE: VP15 (b261) - fundamental error when expanding tracks from multicam
The other must-do in my workflow is to save full second copy of all Media synched on the timeline, before creating the multicam track. That way it's right there if something goes terribly wrong.

RE: VP15 (b261) - fundamental error when expanding tracks from multicam
I don't know about those issues, on Version 12 I have not had problems expanding a multicam. But you can apply your color corrections to the clips in the Media bin and they will stick regardless of multicam.

RE: Multicam functionality in MovieStudio 14
Thanks, VK - that makes it clear that multicam track re-expansion is a Pro-only function. I guess it's important to have some product differentiation, given that Pro is substantially more expensive than MovieStudio; clearly it's these sort of things

Multicam functionality in MovieStudio 14
Multicam editing is pretty essential for me now I'm recording events with four cameras. But am I right in assuming that the Multicam functionality - greatly appreciated in MS14 (currently Build 148) - is reduced compared to Vegas Pro? In particular,

RE: Is it just me, or does VEGAS Pro 15 crash at regular intervals?
Version 15 hangs/crashes so often, I've stopped editing with it, and went back to version 13. I do render with 15, since that's about twice as fast. I notice that 15 slows down over 15 - 30 minutes until it hangs/crashes. I'm always using multicam

RE: [Release] VEGAS Pro 15 – Inspiration Meets Productivity
Vegas Pro 15 Tried it with Multicam editing - CRASHES - will go back to VP14. Are there any advantages worth keeping in 15? If not I'll ask for a refund until they get it working right.

RE: VP15 (b261) lagging timeline performace on clip boundaries
My first serious project on VP15 is a 4-camera multicam edit. I worked on the project syncing and color correcting and arranging clips for tens of hours. After creating the multicamera track the problems started. The transition from one clip to

RE: VP15 (b261) lagging timeline performace on clip boundaries
Hi, Thanks Cornico. Tried to disable the So4 Compound Reader for AVC/M2TS. It just made things worse. The hickups at clip boundaries now takes longer than 1 second. If the boundary is a crossfade the playhead on the timeline can stop for several

Hi All, Having started with V6 and updated to every version I finally decided to invest in VP15. I got a new ugly GUI (ok - I like the dark color scheme), lost Dolby Pro audio encoding, and the performance is WORSE than in VP14... My first serious

RE: General Performance Issues with VEGAS Pro 15 (216)
AFAIK, XAVC S has an intraframe compression. XAVC-I does work better for the same reason and for 4K multicam projects I do a conversion in Catalyst Browse to make it smoother.

RE: Multi-Angle Subclip Question

RE: Multicam audio sync
Just select the audio events and then select the synchronize function from the Extras/Multicam menu. I prefer synchronising manually as this is faster and more reliably for me.
