  @ryanW – I had to do something with disabling/enabling something to get Xsplit broadcaster working on a laptop. (OBS worked fine out of the box). Sorry I can’t remember what I had to do to fix it but I recall seeing a similar screen to what j-v

  As well, if you press the SETTINGS icon in Windows you will see a "Gaming" settings option. Clicking on that settings option will provide you more configuration options, including re-defining the keyboard short-cuts to start/stop screen recording

  @SomeAMan If all you want is screen capture, IMHO it would be far better and cheaper just to use a 3rd party app. I'd suggest you try OBS (freeware) which has extensive capture options including lossless. You could then import directly into V16 for
