    RE: vegas 19 and gopro
@David-Long Your initial question had to do with fisheye removal for GoPro footage. A number of tools in HappyOtterScripts can already do this. In the next build (due out in a week or so), I've added this option to the ImportAssist tool which, among

    RE: vegas 19 and gopro
Well got the trial and tried effects. Looks like a learning curve which is fine, but I have a very nice lut for GoPro 9 and looks not so good in Effects. Will stick with VP19 for the time being.

I guess $300 for the upgrade to get the GoPro feature is not in the books for me :(

Where did you see this advertisement? I haven't seen anything specific to gopro mentioned as part of V19.

I looked at this but it is no different from before and nothing specific for GoPro as the advertisement says.

    vegas 19 and gopro
I saw that with 19 you can adjust the fisheye of videos from GoPro. However I do not see this and the help in Vegas Pro 19 is for version 18 which is weird. Anyone have some ideas on this? dave

RE: VEGAS Pro 19 - General Discussion
Also, could someone please paste the release notes here so I can add them to this post? They should be in a file such as C:/Program Files/VEGAS/VEGAS Pro 19.0/readme/Vegas_readme.htm 2. What's New in VEGAS Pro 19 VEGAS Hub Window: A central location

RE: How do I render a 360 video to 360?
Hello It is true that I only used Garmin cameras in Virb Edit. But I guess a GoPro Max (360) will work too. How is it supposed to work with Spatial Media? Import the video then just export it? Sincerely

RE: [Closed] Post Your VEGAS Creations!
Wow, this is a great thread...love the videos, folks! Can't believe I never saw it before. I recently started using Vegas again (did a little editing with it many years ago when it was more of an audio tool). I recently started a YT channel for our

RE: Preview Window Lag during 2160p 60fps
60p doesn't give additional detail but it changes the nature of how motion is perceived. It makes things smoother (can be an almost hyper-real video look). Traditional film is 24p which is relatively choppy but also abstracted from reality a bit

RE: Preview Window Lag during 2160p 60fps
I have exactly the same system. Send me a link to a file and I can test directly. In general GoPro decoding is far better on 18 than 15. Still, 4K60p is challenging. Do you export at 60p or use it for slow motion on a 30p or 24p timeline? You can

Thank you. I'll be happy to go into more detail later when I have the time. Apart from some..... Photoshop work on the chroma key background layers Rendering out some of the overlay effects (which were After Effect templates)...to Alpha+RGB MOVs so

Thanks for all your comments, please don't think I'm criticising Vegas 18, I love Vegas, always have. My post was just to question why Vegas rendered my GoPro clip slower than other editors on the same machine. I have a mixed bag of answers from

@Former user so I pay a huge amount of money for a Xeon CPU (which might fit straight into my machine or might not) and then should enable me to render an 11-minute GoPro clip in approx half the time that I can at the moment using Vegas 18 while at

Yeah, I know, but focussing on my hobbies helps me through it. Indeed. Only way to go. I don’t have a use case for a GoPro, but i’d go for the Black if I had, my buddy is thinking of moving up to something like that, as you say, the stabilisation

@JN- Yeah, I know, but focussing on my hobbies helps me through it. Yes, modern medicine and all the fantastic machinery they have is marvellous, so I live in hope. Pleased you got sorted. No, I don't use Mp4joiner I just put on the timeline.

@JN- I'm going to do another render with Vegas again, just to check the render time again. Your Vegas settings are pretty much the same as mine, I just have my Max bps to 60000. Still not sure why you aree getting a faster time than me. Yes, the

@Richard-Green I redid the Laptop and PC, the laptop came in at 6m:9s and the PC 6m:02s PC specs in signature. Perhaps the laptop was running cooler earlier, but no doubt it was as reported, 5:54s. No special VP settings, just stock. Anyway, my

Very interesting. It's maxing out encode at 99% consistently and has 40%+ decode and 47% 3D. Looks really optimized. It's not the hardware it's the approach to GPU utilization and software architecture that makes a difference.Have you done a test

@Former user I'm uploading the clip I've been experimenting with. It's just a GoPro clip, nothing special, GoPro footage is what I use. I'll post the link as soon as it's uploaded. I don't mind anyone on here using it to compare with what I'm
