  Sorry, but posting one video of a guy saying he's switching to another very buggy editing app is not evidence that "more and more" users are switching away from Vegas... Where's the evidence that there aren't just as many users switching to Vegas

  I have to agree with this. My only suggestion to Magix is to stop making new version of VEGAS Pro, but fully remake the whole system to be more stable & reliable like other NLE. when VEGAS Pro 17 is being promoted with the new screen capture, it

  @fr0sty Thanks Frosty. None of those are "deal breakers" for me, but all good to know. I the one item on the list that effects me directly is the "won't close" vegas170.exe but I've got the Waag app for that, works better than any other "close"

  Both start the independent program Screen Capture, at least for me. The recording should begin with the button (2). Sometimes the recording time counter runs, sometimes the window only changes into a black window. It does not matter what it was

  I just tested it. It is broken for me too.   When I tell it to save to a certain folder, it just puts the "x..vegcap" 1k file in that folder but continues to put the video and audio files in "C:\Users\USE NAME\Captures\xxxxxxx" folder. It does not

  The .vegcap files are not the media files but meta data only which cannot be imported into Movie Studio. On the bottom of the Screen Capture window there is a button which directly imports finished recordings into the Project Media of Movie Studio.
