RE: How is VEGAS Pro 22? Could you share your reviews and experiences?
Just updated my Vegas Pro 19 to VGAS Pro Suite 22 but not yet installed. Almost all the videos I edit are multicam+external audio, so I'm really curious to see if I can (finally) get rid of PluralEyes for syncing...

RE: GeForce Driver 591.44 - A huge difference
What @3POINT said. My desktop and laptop were on Win11 23H2 which I've been updating the last few days. 1st to 24H2 and last night to 25H2. Took the opportunity to benchmark my laptop (12900H/3060) each step of the way with vp22 and 23. My Nvidia

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
For cameras to be in sync, don't they have to be grouped after aligning the events to be in sync? I am working on a test project, well it's footage from the real project, but just one event in a test project file so I can get the hang of this. Are

RE: Rendering Issues
I haven't' used the multicam feature in years (didn't really like it) but if it does leave blank spaces I'll give it a try. Muting the clips would still be a lot of extra work because I'm using those camera angles often...so it would require

@jay-o at the screenshot it looks that only 1 track is selected.Did you select all tracks before your choice for multicam?

RE: Video created in Ffmpeg is not added to Vegas
I used vp21 b108 for quite a while because subsequent builds until the last of the vp22 builds had a serious problem opening hd422 clips from a Canon xf305 camera that had been working fine with Vegas for about a dozen years. vp21 b208 rendered

RE: Is there a way to do pan and crop at the media level?
John dennis, I just watched your video. That would not help me. I have 4 cameras multicammed. I only want to rotate one of the cameras out of the four.

[Solved] Multicam editing
Is there a way to reduce the size of the mult-cam editing labels? It takes up 1/3 of the view of that particular camera. The only way I have found is to change the preview quality to "Best" and "full". All the others are large and take up to half

RE: Rendering V23 vs V22 GPU
I'm getting substantially faster renders from vp23 compared to vp22... but I'm using nothing but Vegas fx, cgp, and native rendering with either a 5080 or 4090 in an aging 11900k machine with the igpu disabled. Shooting mostly 2 to 3-hr 10bit 4k

RE: Multi camera editing question
My only recourse to change the interval between take switch is to either CTRL+Z all the way back to the start and start over, or in the case where the project was saved and on reopening it I need to change the interval. I cannot find a way to

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
@Jimbo Your clip/s are already on the timeline, what i suggested was just to select the ones on the timeline using the Project Media window. The clips on the timeline will highlight (click G on the keyboard if you want to group them) then drag them

RE: Scene detection in Vegas pro 21. How to mark clips to properly move
Thanks so much for trying, and the multicam idea was clever, but I think the (long) way I do it now is faster. Typically, for a one hour clip, scene detect cuts about 100 clips. Dragging them onto a single track in the timeline, and then creating a

RE: Alternatives for BRAW Editing?
I would recommend NOT to use the CGP, if one can avoid it. At least not at the moment. I agree with you that it takes away a lot of performance, unfortunately. In my multicam-projects, I generally apply cgp at the track level to each camera track.

RE: What is the best graphics card for vegas 21 ?
@Matthias-Claflin There's a conflation of the problem though, the talk is of HEVC 10bit multicam, when I last checked the new HEVC decoder can't play more than 1 video simultaneously without lag so ofcourse it needs proxies for multicam due to

RE: VEGAS Pro 22 Build 122 General Discussion
While I don't have any problems starting/using Vegas 22.x (I just did a 4-hour session of 4xFHD multicam editing without issues), I have noticed serious problems using High DPI-enabled VST3 plugins (Izotope's ones in my case): plugin's window is non

RE: Upgrade Vegas Pro Suite 22 to Vegas Pro 23
I'm sticking with vp22 for audio editing into the foreseeable future. Mostly because I do substantial audio envelope editing where vp22 is dramatically faster and smoother compared to vp23. In fact, I've found every prior version of Vegas is

Is there a way to do pan and crop at the media level?
I have edited a long video of 4 cameras. I realize now that one of the cameras was 1 degree tilted. I can use pan and crop to fix the one event. But I would like to do it at the media level. I don't see any way. The only two ways I see are 1. Find

RE: Multicam editing messed up everything after what I was working on.
My understanding of multicam is that it's track based so as you wrote you'd put the tracks/cameras you want to be in multicam together and then use the multicam feature to cut between them. If you want other events to show regardless of which of

RE: .MTS file de-sync upon import (VP23 - 302)
Thanks @john_dennis. Appreciated, and so strange that it was only this specific XDCAM format that was successful. But I tend to agree with @3POINT that I shouldn't have to re-encode. Vegas has always been so good at whatever your throw at it and I

Multicam editing issue - black screen for split out video track
So I went to try multicam editing for the first time today, thinking it would be great. But no. For some reason, the playback was so glitchy and would not select one preview screen over the other, so I was unable to make an edit this way. So I

RE: Need opinions, VP 22 vs 23
Envelope editing is still more laborious and clunky for me with vp23 than vp22. But b356 improved it enough over b302 that I was able to do my last envelope-intensive audio-only concert project with it. There's a new bug in b356 envelope editing
