RE: Media gets cut off when keyframing with pan and crop + 3d source alpha
@Lentern @3POINT I'll throw one more pinch of salt into this pot and leave the kitchen. The simplest way to accomplish this task if you're not into 3D animation is to: Create a Vegas project with the text in it and do the Track Motion rotation on

RE: Media gets cut off when keyframing with pan and crop + 3d source alpha
You should be able to do pans and turns at the same time using 3D source alpha track motion... like this. Smooth keyframes seem to cause the problem. @fr0sty your missing that you cannot set different keyframes just for panning and other keyframes

The 6 keyframe interpolations haven't been updated in over a decade.
These keyframe interpolations graced Vegas's animations for the first few years, although they were very low in easing amount, and almost linear. But over the course of more than a decade, the 6 keyframe interpolations have fallen short of what

Third Project... This uses Pan&Crop masking to get the 'electron' to disappear behind the 'atom.' Electron movement is in Nested Timeline layer using Parent & Child Track motions for horizontal and vertical placement. All basic stuff - I

VEGAS Development TeamCan you please look seriously into implementing Bézier curve animation controls. Or at least allow users to choose a greater value other than 100 for smoothness this would be an easy update to existing sub-routines? @Selina It

    Nesting
I've never used Vegas' Nesting... This video is perhaps an age-old hackneyed idea of the bouncing ball on Karaoke-style music lyrics. Don't pay too close attention to the animation - it's just an experiment. First, I created a single track with a

RE: Borders - The Bane of My Existence
@john_dennis - Doesn't appear to be using Track Motion. Purely MASKS. Here's what I see as the issue, although Border is an FX, it doesn't behave like "other" FXs. Other FXs can be contained to the Mask.

@Selina Hi, i can do this if the border is applied the the event & controlled with Track Motion, i can see your border getting smaller as it moves, have you tried this on a video without it squishing the video,

A few notable improvements: Color Grading (WAY better color tools than 13) Far better GPU acceleration, faster renders Motion tracking Improved transitions Optical Flow slow motion AI tools like upscaling, colorizing black and white footage, style

RE: Borders - The Bane of My Existence
Um, If I understand the problem correctly ... Here I've added two solids and used the Track Motion to pan each to the left and right of screen and used the clips' Pan&Crop to resize them (just the horizontal margins) and then applied the FX

RE: benefits of Vegas 19 vs. 13
The obvious and intuitive things are that : the V19 rendered video no longer has any more contrast than the preview;  Second, V19 plugins can now be set as favorite;  Third, the V19 UI is darker and more stylish;  The fourth one is that V19 has

@Grazie You are too kind! Here's an improved version... I took the shapes from @Former user's photo of an actual lens aperture and drew the shape in my favourite vector programme (CorelDRAW x7). Then I rotated the shape around to form an aperture

The bass was clearly not overpowering with these speakers though my sense is there was more intermodulation distortion, likely, in the last two feet of the signal chain. That's the overdriven bass (on the player's end) plus the clipped piano. When I

RE: what are your preferred Voukoder settings
@Former user I edited a lot of 4k footage in FHD projects and rendered to FHD with Voukoder. The quality of those renders is hardly to distinguish from the original 4k footage on my 4k 65" TV. For my kind of videos, I never use track based fx or
