@Selina ... Re Flow ... animation options in Noise Textures go back to the Sony days of Vegas Pro and were available in Vegas Pro 10 (in 2010) and probably even earlier and have always been able to be animated. It's great that you are thrilled discovering these options and experimenting with them, but if you want to upload your findings during your experimental days of using Vegas Pro, it would be better targeted to add your uploads to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/post-your-vegas-creations--109464/?page=27 a post that better meets your reason for posting.
@Dexcon - thanks for your comment. The forum post you describe is no longer pinned and has far too many posts in it already. By creating a dedicated thread on a single aspect, I hope it's easier to find if anyone is specifically looking for ideas. Others who want to contribute their findings most welcome.
The majority of posts here seem to be asking for help and perhaps there's not that much interest in exploring what Vegas offers and my posts aren't that inspiring to those, who've been there and done that?
It's a great idea to talk about video making techniques/creativity in a post, because creativity is at the heart of video making. It's precious and rare to have some posts that talks about video creation ideas like this when you're tired of a whole page of help-for-help posts. Just a personal opinion.
By creating a dedicated thread on a single aspect, I hope it's easier to find if anyone is specifically looking for ideas. Others who want to contribute their findings most welcome.
The problem with creating a dedicated thread is that without constantly being added to with new comments, the post will quickly be overtaken over and over by newer posts/comments. After not too long, the only way to find it in the future will be to do a forum search with specific keywords like 'Noise Textures' for those who are specifically looking for posts including those keywords. Notwithstanding the search facility and thus the ability to resurrect old threads with a new comment, the reality is that posts and comments on the forum are constantly driven down the history chain. For instance, will this thread still be in the top 10 featured in 1 years time? That's where dedicated posts like 'Post Your Vegas Creations' have greater longevity. Of course, the choice is yours.
@Selina "Post Your Vegas Creations" is still pinned but listed under "MORE IMPORTANT POSTS - Please read this first!". The change was made due to moderators needing to keep the number of pinned posts down.
You don't need to post there, but maybe you might consider posting your creations in one thread only. I think it would help the many interested users find the old posts as well. They tend to get lost pretty soon as Dexcon mentions above.
Vegas Pro 19 (build 636) now has beautiful Bézier Curves for the FX Timeline! A wonderful addition - many thanks for your continued commitment and drive to enhance the user experience.
I just love it ❤️❤️❤️
The following 'short' uses the "silk curtain" noise setting from above together with a bézier curved animation...
