Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
Using Vegas 20 in Win 11. Dell Precision 3630, 32 Gig RAM. I’m requesting a review of my attempt to accomplish the superimpositions of 30 .png family photos (different sizes and resolutions, alpha backgrounds, on separate tracks) over a single photo

RE: Motion Design in vegas 23
@BMR-D Although you can do great Motion Graphics and Compositing tasks in Vegas, Vegas Pro is a dedicated Video and Audio Editing tool. And even with the upcoming Vegas 23, you still have to switch to After Effects if doing advanced motion graphics

RE: Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
@DMT3 Not at all I did it within a minute, the trick is to use parent track motion to zoom equally/exact on both tracks. No trouble with matching coordinates. If @Sam-Stalos could provide the family.png's and the brickwall picture, I will provide

RE: Vegas Pro 22 - Rendering is not smooth
Thanks Alex. I checked and don't see duplicate frames, which is good. How exactly did you do the slow motion? Since the original footage was 50p you just halved the playback rate ("add at project framerate") to get perfect 25fps slow motion? Was the

    RE: [Solved] Mocha Pro misalignment
I've had that happen if the size of the video event has been altered in any way in Vegas Pro - such as Pan/Crop or Track Motion. The event sent to Mocha Pro OFX must be at its default size on the timeline. Also consider whether or not the video

@anthony-chiappette Just out of curiosity, when you hang-freeze, did your timeline perhaps had no audio on the audio track (like deleted the audio from the clip)?Or, working with a lot of stills (which have obviously no audio either)?I like to

RE: [Solved] Drop shadow on image overlay
.My past (and current) issues (that I have seen others express same problem with) is that Pan & Crop tends to cut off image/video depending where you move it (similar to what is shown in screenshot). I had been told by others to avoid this

RE: need help understanding this stuttering pan phenomenon
@Mindmatter filming at 50P is good for occasional slomo and for fast movement such as panning or fast moving subjects, but if you are going to produce in 25P, the convert will drop frames and you are still stuck with noticeable stuttering/jerkiness

RE: Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish the effect in this video?
Hi, For the specific video, separate the most important intervals and also in the transitions study and apply slow motion because that is where you will draw attention to the beauty of the nature involved! Also, for the Vegas Pro developers, here is

RE: Updating an SD MiniDV project to HD in Vegas Pro 23
UPDATE: I've very recently finished my 2007 Switzerland MiniDV redo project uprezing it from SD to HD and most importantly stabilising the video in DV20 - which is great for SD to HD stab. I've now started on doing the same with the rest of the trip

    RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Hi, I made a long post about how the Track motion settings relate to Media/Project, size, aspect ratio etc.. but to be honest after a couple of hrs trying to work it all out the sizes in Track Motion didn't seem to corelate to anything.

RE: Updating an SD MiniDV project to HD in Vegas Pro 23
@Dexcon Try following project settings: Goto p50 to keep i50 smoothness of motion, instead of p25. Use stabilisation M5 Plugin instead of M5 SAL. Didn't you have DRS, you could try DRS stabilisation und upscaling.

Does anyone know of way to do this within Vegas? Yes, but it involves having 2 separate .veg projects: one for YT and the other for TikTok. ... and then changing the project size before rendering to 1020x1980 for TikTok. But you'll also need to

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 build 278 General Discussion
Here is one area of terribly worse performance of V23 over V22: Stills that use pan and crop: some pan-crop motions kill performance. Not all. These are stills of 4000 X 3000 from a Samsung S21 in a project of 1920 X 1080. So far, it seems when the

Vegas native motion tracking doesn't use AI, and is a relatively basic motion tracker. Mocha Vegas (and Mocha Pro) is better - but still doesn't use AI, and also doesn't fair well with pong
