    RE: GOPRO VIDEO FORMATS
Ok Thank you. I will consider that the solution and try to seek more information from GoPro or a user group. Thanks for all your help.

RE: Suggestions for VEGAS Pro 23 - Addressing Performance and Stability.
I can get by for the most part, compositing in Vegas alone. But I do see a need for "more". But I am wondering if there has been any real advancements in Hitfilm to justify using it, and it is subscription based. But if they get all the core

RE: Rendering takes so long 5,3k 60fps 10bit Nvenc
... it may just be that this GoPro footage is hard to decode so try to choose different settings in your camera that are easier to edit or be patient with your renders. Agreed. The GoPro settings are at its maximums: 5,3k 60fps and 10bit ... but

RE: Issues VEGAS Pro 21 build 300 - GoPro 11 5.3k Clipping Video Lag
Thanks for clarifying, I've only worked with older GoPros. FWIW, experimental HEVC decoding is so4compound, which can actually be fast with some HEVC types and at least Intel iGPUs.

    [Solved] Change CPU ? (Intel I5-9700K -> I5-13400F)
Good morning, I currently have as PC configuration:I7 9700K32GB DDR4 3600MHz RAMnVidia RTX 4070OS, Vegas on one NVME SSD and my project and videos on a second NVME. I wanted to know if I upgrade to an I5-13400F I would see a difference when

    RE: GOPRO VIDEO FORMATS
You can use it with VEGAS of course. Will it work well is a different question. Try to download some samples that are available online. For settings in the GoPro I'd avoid HEVC if AVC is an option and if your only GPU is NVIDIA may have issues with

video black but sound is fine while editing
Hi. Just got a new hp laptop, i'm editing multiple videos from a gopro hero 9, random videos show up black even though the sound is there, i'm only using one camera and it just seems to pick random files to do this to. Also when i render them they

If you fill out the form I can give better advice. If dynamic ram preview is at 0MB put it back on the default.Otherwise it may just be that this GoPro footage is hard to decode so try to choose different settings in your camera that are easier to

RE: Humble Bundle Vegas Pro Edit V21
@daniel-t Hi, I saw quite a big improvement with VP21 (300), VP18, 19 & 20 crashed quite a lot & struggled a bit with some media like HEVC GoPro files, since VP21 (300) I can honestly say VP now hardly ever crashes, render times decreased

O que exatamente você gostaria que eu testasse? Tentei as opções Decodificador de Hardware + AVC Legado. Não funcionou de forma estável no meu caso com minhas gravações em 4K (Panasonic X1500 + GoPro 11). @fifonik In "Preferences → File I/O →

RE: Using Davinci Resolve for video for BD, avoiding recompression?
I've checked the reference frame number in MAGIX AVC/AAC renders that I've used for years in Vegas Pro and the reference frame number is always 4 - but that's for HD 25 fps projects, not 24 (23.976) fps projects. One of the failures of Resolve is

Sorry to everyone for jumping in and slightly hijacking this thread. 😬 I'm using Vegas 20 (22 crashing) and working with GoPro Source that is Full Levels. Vegas sees it as Full, as does Media Info. But my render output using the Internet UHD 2160p

RE: Vegas 22 bugs? Single green frames and video stands still
@crag364 seeing the issue is great. But having an unedited raw sample (it can be of anything) to try might possibly lead to a possible solution, or at least, an escalation of the problem to the Vegas developers.   Here is a file using the exact

Same here, had same problem with Vegas 21 308 build, using Vegas 22 build 122, GoPro videos. Only does it at the cross fade transitions. i've enabled both Legacy AVC and Experimental HEVC, and it didn't fix it. Nvidia RTX2060 10-01-2024 latest

RE: Different frame rates in one given project
Not sure if OP wants to try Resolve, so. Since the OP is using VMS 17, and transcoding to ProRes is a No-Go, the best I found to use for transcoding that worked awesome, especially for different GoPro Cameras and/or their frame rates, is Grass

@john_dennis 👍 Yep, I didn't try rendering anything I was just using the only two cameras I have, a GoPro 11 & Samsung S23 Ultra, only the Gopro does 4:3. I think we need to try @andyrpsmith's file & see if we get the same result as him.

Experimental HEVC and GoPro 11 footage = Higher Memory Utilization
I couldn't understand why a few recent projects have nearly exhausted my 32 GB of RAM, and caused crashes (which happen when Windows reports usage over 70% RAM).I realized that besides the normal media we edit, they included GoPro11 1080p content

RE: Issues VEGAS Pro 21 build 300 - GoPro 11 5.3k Clipping Video Lag
Presumably your last version was building a video proxy, based on your description. Is your new version building a video proxy when you introduce your beefy GoPro clips? You will know from the progress bar on the lower left.

And this is fixed with latest update to V20 and V19! I successfully edited two projects now without a single crash with mix of footage from GoPro Hero 10,11, ProRes 422, DJI Mavic Mini Pro 3, and Skydio 2. I've tried both V19 (648) and V20 (326). I

RE: Big problems with 9070 XT
I have a RX 9070. Using it for GPU acceleration for older video sources (.avi of 1080P or less) works great. However, with 4K MP4's from my Sony and GoPro I find that occasional clips in my timeline will be grossly pixelated in the rendered MP4. I
