RE: Computer Upgrade
@MH7 I previously had the Ryzen 9 3900X 12core/24thread CPU. I haven't benchmarked it yet, but with the a few of the projects I have, I tested the 3900X before upgrading, and with the 5950x, the rendering was 20% faster in one editor and in Vegas,

RE: Vegas Pro and GoPro 11 formats (Vegas 20)
On Vegas 19, using proxies and less than Best /Full preview, I could probably get it done with the ancient machine from my signature. It's getting upgraded soon. You should start thinking about a hardware upgrade, too, if you keep updating you

RE: Computer Upgrade
Drivers have been a problem with both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. I had a RX480 in my computer for a long time. Never an issue or problem. The only time I would update my graphics driver if I were having problems. Since I wasn't, I'd be on the

It seems you are going in a direction similar to mine, so I will share my experiences: Notes :- I went from a Ryzen 3600 XT and Radeon 5700XT, so have not tried the Nvidia / Intel combo.- My requirements are similar to yours as I play games (also

RE: Computer Upgrade
Regarding the AMD RX 7900 XT I don't think anyone's tested it in Vegas. I wouldn't sign up to test it myself, esp. given the state of AMD drivers. We have quite a few RTX 4000 series NVIDIA in the benchmarks I listed (see my signature). I know AMD’s

RE: Extremely slow and laggy preview with Vegas Pro 21
I recently upgraded from "Sony Movie Studio 13" to "Vegas Pro Edit 21 (Build 108)" and right away imported my current project (1440p@60 with a timeline of 2 minutes and 3 video tracks and one audio track, all footage MP4/H264 - nothing

RE: FX Watermark
I think the render watermark usually only happens in a trial version. Maybe something got messed up on your system in an OS or hardware upgrade. I'd suggest trying a reset on startup and if that doesn't fix it, do an uninstall and a reinstall. You

RE: Plugin Missing - Common Numbering System?
@jetdv Thank you for your learned response. I'm currently dual-booting with Vegas 13-18 on one image and Vegas 19 on a different image on the same hardware. I've been working older projects, so who knows what I'll find next. Currently, I could go

Vegas Post 20 Performance with Intel and NVIDIA
Okay, so I’m planning a upgrade my PC from what it is currently (see my sig) to a Intel i5 13600K and an RTX 3060Ti. This isn’t just for video editing (although it mostly is) but for gaming also (as I recently bought Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020:

RE: Not Responding
@Roger Bansemer I have an RX 6800XT but with hardware decoding enabled it crashes constantly, unusable, but when I Enable legacy AVC decoding, which greys out the Hardware Decoder, I never get a crash, honestly, never. I just make use of Dynamic RAM

RE: Desktop Flickering
I wanted to let you all know that it appears I have a bad display port cable. Turns out it was just a hardware issue and coincidental to upgrading to Vegas 20 when it decided to show itself. Thanks to all.

RE: Computer Upgrade
For brands I did research and went with a Hynix p41 which I recommend- esp. when there are sales (got a good price from Amazon). I have heard of that brand. I have Samsung SATA SSD’s myself. I might take a look but I want to keep within budget. I

RE: Trialing Another Version of VEGAS Pro 20
This is highly unlikely, as there's no way that Magix could keep their doors open if they only make money off of the initial sale of the software. We have to keep in mind that they aren't using this software to help sell their hardware like

I just want to start off saying, I really enjoy using Vegas Pro 21, I will upgrade again when the life cycle of 21 is over. I only do family videos, nothing professional. I have been using Vegas since version 13. gary-rebholz I really enjoy your

You can't upgrade V12, but you can upgrade to the latest version, which is currently V20. Note, the hardware specs are a lot different.

Depending on the savings we may upgrade to Vegas Pro 20, ive yet to find any price breaks for this, we dont really need DVD architect anymore though. Judging by how much power Intel are investing in there ARC hardware and how many games are moving

RE: [bug] Vegas 20 - RX10 crashes and freezes total GUI
I'm not sure why you spent any money on hardware to address software issues. I've also seen functionality issues with Izotope RX9 so mainly stuck with VP 19 for audio which mostly works. RX10 is VST3 only, right, so you have to work in VP20? I

RE: Disappointing Vegas performance with new AMD RX6600XT
@Kosta-Stanic I am surprised at the differences you've mentioned between the 5950X and the 7950x. It might also come down to the DDR5 RAM and motherboard throughput also compared to X570. I am still considering upgrading to the 5950x, which should

Right now, I have zero issues with the RX 6700XT 12GB graphics card. I considered the the 7900 series, but just am not going to spend that type of money. I can wait for things to render. Yes, if I am honest, the amount of money that is asked for
