I thought I give it a try and convert the SCS Benchmark to 4K which is actually fairly simple. I wanted to have a good indication of 4K editing performance on my system and a project I can always refer to when I make changes to my system. I also uploaded it to my OneDrive 4K SCS-Benchmark if someone is interested but it is rather large, 9.75GB. If you don't have a fast Internet connection it might well be easier to convert your own project.
I used XAVC-S 3840x2160@29.97fps for transcoding the video files. I converted the PNG files also to 3840x2160 and resized all generated media to 3840x2160; there is a Vegas script that can do it. I initially tried XAVC Intra but those files where too big to upload.
So far, Best/Full is a not go and even Preview/Full isn't really satisfying. Maybe someone with a 5960X system could give it a try or BruceUSA with his dual 290 setup.
