Ai Smart Mask 2.0 Not Wokring On Vegas Pro 22 Must Have Wrong Version

AnkarosEdits21 wrote on 10/10/2025, 3:01 AM

Hello there, so when i reinstalled vegas pro 22 I guess i mustv'e installed the wrong version of deep learning models someone shared with me before since ai mask 2.0 isn't working. I have Vegas Pro 22.0.50.0 version. Also why does the other version don't mask out the bottom of thhe video like the bottom is cut off and for the update for vegas pro 23 is the bug fix to te black edge on rendered videos going to be fixed? like when i dragged in my Topaz render 1:1 ratio 1080x1080 there was a black edg and on 22 it was normal, i checked the ratio everything was the same when i zoomed in a tiny bit it waas ok. but you can't have videos that are zoomed in.

thanks.

I would suggest you go to your Magix account>My Products, download VP22 and you should be good to go.

I have no idea where you got your version of Vegas Pro 22, but it certainly isn't one that was released by Magix.

I Hav the 365 subscription so I updated to new version. do you have an answer to the black edge on rendered video in 23?

What is the new version? Sorry, I have not idea of what the black edge is about. Are you referring to VP22 or VP23?

A screenshot would be nice to show what you are writing about.

I'm having the same issue. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Tried installing the DLM from the link and it says it or a newer version is already installed. I've analyzed fast, slow, doesn't matter. Nothing highlights in the preview window. I can add the green +s, the red -s, drag rectangles around stuff. Nothing highlights. Sent email to Magix a few days ago and haven't heard squat.

Don't know about Topaz but I also had issues with Vegas DLMs after I reverted to an earlier build of vp23 to test something and then went back to the current build. The DLMs were all still there according to Windows Apps and were the correct versions. But vp23 said DLMs needed to be downloaded and installed when I tried to use one of them. Only cure was to re-run each DLM-installer twice... the 1st time to uninstall (the installer knows it's there!) and then a 2nd time to install it again. I think it happens because VP23 doesn't let me revert to an earlier build without uninstalling it 1st which removes something DLM-related in it's program folder.
