Anyone using AAV ColorLab with Vegas 15?

Julius_ wrote on 9/28/2017, 10:10 AM

When I apply a white balance using AAV at times it doesn't work (the preview screen goes black)..I remove it and my preview window is normal...if I reboot sometimes it will work and the effect was applied, but the playback is not possible on that clip..(it just badly stutters)..anyone else have this problem?

I tried the vegas white balance, but really love AAV, I find it much better.

Thanks

I do not get this problem with AAV on my i7-6700k. However, it slows down the preview speed of UHDp30 footage much more that the Vegas internal white balance. What is your hardware?

I have a i7-6800k 3.4 32gig ram, Amd 8gig r9 series...can you try if you have multiple tracks?

I just tried it with two FHDp50 tracks as a picture in picture with both events having an AAV with white balance. Works OK.

I use the AMD R7 250 as the video processing acelleration GPU.

What kind of footage are you using and did you disable the So4..

Thanks Peter for testing it.

Seems to happen with any kind of footage I;ve tried with .mov, .mts...yes that So4 dll is disabled

It all works well with V13.
