tried to add an eq to an audio region > double click fx button and only the close button appears
also, no controls on track level
@JHendrix Did you try a single click the fX button on the clip? I couldn't make any sense out of your picture.

great thanks....but issue 1 is still there, track or event fx or even bus fx do not launch window
very weird, never seen this in Vegas.....no audio plg windows are visible, only the close button
anyone know how to reset the UI? this was working this morning and this bug appeared.

just launches this and then does nothing
Did you follow exactly the highlighted text above? You've got to keep Crtl+Shift depressed while double-clicking the desktop shortcut icon. A window will then appear where the clear cache checkbox needs to be checked 'on'.
Do all plug-ins exhibit the same behavior? Some third-party 32bit VST-2 plug-en do not display properly. This issue also exists in Sound Forge 16/17 . Most VST plug-ins display normally SF-18,,
To add EQ or other FX to a region. Automation would need to be used on the track's FX plug-in. It is faster/easier to split the audio event and add the plug to the event.
