In the MEDIA pool, (Project Media) select DETAILS for the display and then you can scan over to LENGTH. Clicking it changes the sorting order.

His option - using Vegas Pro - is useful if you have not yet placed the events on the timeline - Vegasaur's if the events are already on the timeline.

Well, a script could certainly do that. You could also go to View - Windows - Edit Details - and select "Events" under show. Then you can click on the "Length" column which will allow you to sort by length up or down.

The mediapool itself can do all these jobs.

For me, the FRate and Size are most considered factors.

Not that I know of - even @wwaag and his free tools didn't find anything suitable.
