Can't record sound using ASIO4all driver

Hi, I'm using Vegas Pro 18 Build 334 (avoiding latest until it is stabilised) in Win 10.

I'm recording audio and MIDI tracks in Reason 11 which requires that I use an ASIO driver in order to monitor recorded sound while recording a new track. I am using ASIO4all because the M/B doesn't seem to have any ASIO drivers.

However, in Vegas Pro HD the only option available is ASIO4all>Audio Line Input 1 and 2.

I previously used the motherboard's Realtek HD audio for input but now that has disappeared.

At the moment I'm experimenting with the various input sources but can't get any signal through to Vegas. Prior to installing ASIO 4all I have recorded hundreds of tracks through my mixer to the Realtek input.

Any clues as what I should do?

[What I may have to do is revert to my older computer which runs Win 7 and has a superb M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card with ASIO drivers. Sadly this card doesn't work with Win 10. However, I had hoped I could get everything working on the Win 10 system. Sigh...]

This issue is solved. A combination of input plug error on my part and incorrect mixer settings. Reason and Vegas are both able to record while playing back previously recorded tracks. I'll just go and stand in the corner for an hour...
