Can Vegas 20 export project media to cue sheet/excel list?

Hi,

I wonder is there a way to export project media audio files as cue sheet/excel list?

With file names and duration? It will help enormously, because now I'm doing that manually.

Thank you in advance.

@VStoyanov: You can export the timeline as EDL via File-> Export-> EDL.

The EDL is a textfile showing among other info start- and end time of each clip, its length and the filename of the clip.

Example of an EDL:

"ID";"Track";"StartTime";"Length";"PlayRate";"Locked";"Normalized";"StretchMethod";"Looped";"OnRuler";"MediaType";"FileName";"Stream";"StreamStart";"StreamLength";"FadeTimeIn";"FadeTimeOut";"SustainGain";"CurveIn";"GainIn";"CurveOut";"GainOut";"Layer";"Color";"CurveInR";"CurveOutR";"PlayPitch";"LockPitch";"FirstChannel";"Channels"
1; 0; 1280.0000; 9760.0000; 1.000000; FALSE; FALSE; 2; TRUE; FALSE; AUDIO; "F:\data_archiv\Video_Projekte\_all_video_projects\20220901_HITEC_GS_training\AudioClip20221116-1.wav"; 0; 0.0000; 9760.0000; 0.0000; 0.0000; 1.000000; 2; 0.000000; -2; 0.000000; 0; -1; -2; 2; 0.000000; FALSE; 0; 0
2; 0; 11040.0000; 3587.5000; 1.000000; FALSE; FALSE; 2; TRUE; FALSE; AUDIO; "F:\data_archiv\Video_Projekte\_all_video_projects\20220901_HITEC_GS_training\AudioClip20221116-1.wav"; 0; 10000.0000; 3587.5000; 0.0000; 0.0000; 1.000000; 2; 0.000000; -2; 0.000000; 0; -1; -2; 2; 0.000000; FALSE; 0; 0

Maybe this helps you to extract the data you want. You can import the EDL as CSV-file in Excel too.

View - Window - Edit Details and choose to show "events". That can be copied to a spreadsheet.

I do it as jetdv suggests. Need to click on the empty box next to the track header to select the chart. Ctrl-c to copy it. Also works great to create TOC/YouTube chapter markers for concerts... just mark each song performed as a named region and select Regions in Edit Details.

Thank you. That will ease the task. :) Cheers!
