Constant freeze after update to MS 15.0 build 157

Hello,

I'm getting constant program lock ups/freeze (only option is to kill process with task manager) since updating to 157. That is the only thing that has changed. I NEVER had any problems before. I'm not editing particularly big projects (usually render out to less than 15min of video). No tricky effects, just some overlay text. Video is 1080p (various frame rates). I had zero problems with Movie Studio freezing or crashing in the past. Only since updating to 157. Any suggestions?

That is not what I think.
This build is for me (and not only me) the best of VMS Pl., so I think it has another reason.

But you tell nothing else than a little of the hardware you work with, an old OS, no installed versions of the use of a GPU, no info about the used files an so on.

Same thing happened to me as well and I was in the middle of a project. As soon as build 157 was uploaded I cannot do anything with MP4s. When I import any MP4 the program freezes then exits.
