i have a day worth of rushes and would like to upload them to a transcription service.
To speed up the process I would like to create audio proxies of the video files they include the original time of day time code.
But I don’t know whether it’s possible.

I think if you enter the timecode in a clip in Vegas manually as described here, it'll be embedded as timecode in a proxy clip that you render:
There's also a script mentioned that will copy the Windows timestamp from a clip or group of clips and fill the in Vegas property field automatically... that would be handy if the camera had it's date set and put the file-system timestamps on the clips it saves.
