You really have not explained what happens when you insert (open?) a project. Please be clear about what exactly you mean by 'delayed' - it is very obscure at the moment. You may know what you mean but we on the forum don't.

For me, it was a lesson not only to ask for the media information, but also to ask which device or software was used to record the video.
