Will do. It's the least I could do considering all the help I've been given here.

I do it in Illustrator. I find that the online templates are too small for the boxes I buy and leave too much of a gap. If you're installing the sleeves yourself then may as make them fit better.

I seem to be the only person using Visio. It gives me great control of all the sizes, shapes, print margins, etc. I've got a single visio template that gives me the DVD case cover, a 4 page folded insert, and a pair of DVD face labels.

Hi dmcknight

Many thanks for your reccomendation of PixelMixer.

I have been very frustrated for a long while about the poor type quality and features of both Mediaface and Epson Print CD.

I always recognised the virtues of Photoshop, but not having the correct templates inhibited my ability to use Photoshop for DVD inserts and printing of DVD discs.

After downloading and using the PixelMixer demo, I was truly delighted with the results.

I have now purchased a PixelMixer licence.

Thanks once again for your input.

$150 is pretty steep for something that doesn't seem to add anything that PS can't do on its own. Also, after experimenting a bit, I don't trust the size of anyone else's templates. Their advise for pre-cut paper is a little weird as well. You could use real photo paper for less than that stuff.

musman and jsteehl...compared to what I've spent on 3-chip cameras, computers, Vegas, other software, training, books, etc....$150 is dirt cheap to get those kinds of results. These are just tools - they cost money - and they save me time. If you're a photoshop guru, that's great. I don't have the time or inclination to become proficiient in it. Maybe later this year, who knows. But this is working for me and , as was said, different strokes.
