Error in .MOV format videos - need a solution

Dhanys-Lopez wrote on 3/28/2025, 11:48 AM

Currently I have a program in which the format videos (.mov) usually change their original color when placed on the timeline.
Here I show an example, the color of the original video is very different from the shades of the video in the preview, this error makes that at the time of exporting keep that tint of the preview and not the original video. Has anyone had the same problem and knew how to solve it?

We need you to post the data from Section C1 and C2 here on the forum so we have an idea of what kind of media you have.

So you are using 32bit ACES for color correction. Please set the proper color space for your media in media properties, here it seems to still be on the default.

  • Lower the amount of your scarce RAM that's dedicated to RAM Preview. Use about 5-10% to start.
  • Report

I tried Rec.2020 HLG (1000 nits) but without any result, which one should I use for this format?

I don't know the right space, please share MediaInfo and explain where the footage came from. (HDR from a phone? Something else?)

Actually "transformation de la vista" - view transform- should be set to sRGB (or another space) or ACES won't be enabled.
