"By your own admission you know absolutely nothing about video."

Can you point that post out for me? I never said that. I worked in a professional video house doing audio post work. Here's one of the Video editing houses I've worked at: www.gracewild.com
During down times, I would learn Video editing also. I've done linear editing with 4 Beta SP machines, before you've even heard of the word Video. I've done work with Digital Beta, and D-8 formats. You probably haven't even heard of one of these. I've used Adobe Premiere before Vegas had Video features. I use Vegas's video features for personal video work....I don't do this professionally...I do audio professionally, but I do use the Video tools in Vegas. I have even found Video bugs in Vegas during beta testing and after release that got fixed due to my use of the program. So where is it that you've professionally done video work before?

I've also done quite a few audio post work with the video editors I've worked with in the past and turned them into Vegas users for their video needs. I'll say, I'm not the best video editor in the world, but I do use it and can get things done that I need too using Vegas and when I have a question, I know quite a few Video editors that do work with me.
