What effect did you use? Video or audio?

I think the render watermark usually only happens in a trial version. Maybe something got messed up on your system in an OS or hardware upgrade. I'd suggest trying a reset on startup and if that doesn't fix it, do an uninstall and a reinstall. You might also check your Magix account and make sure your registration shows the right machine config... sometimes there are entries there that need to be removed if you upgraded your OS or hardware.

Thanks for the reaching out. It was a video effect. I think it's from NewBlue, but NewBlue was part of the install, I think. I will check with our IT guy on the install. We just got Vegas. It's been awhile, I think I was down around 12 or 13 when I used it before. Never had a problem with these before.

Thanks again!

@SCA, we'd need to know the exact effect and which package you installed to get that effect. For example, you mentioned "version 14". There was a bundle that was given away with version 14. That bundle will work in version 14 - ONLY version 14 - without a watermark. So you'd definitely see a watermark using an effect from the version 14 bundle in version 19. But without more information it's hard to know if that's the case.

@SCA When i installed a NewBlue plugin the red X remained, but going to Windows System - Storage - Temp files, ticking all boxes & deleting got rid of the red X, i think it was temp files that Windows was using or thumbnails that needed reloading/updating in the system.

From the 32 bit FX group, I chose Film Camera. I am looking for windows system/storage/temp files, but I don't see the folder.

@SCA Right click the Start button bottom left of the screen, System should be there, Windows 11 might be different to W10 tho, If you have the Search icon next to the Start button you can type System in there, Or Right click the Start button - Search or Settings.

Found it, but it didn't work. Still getting the FX watermark.

@SCA Hmm worth a try, I have just one TotalFX now but In the past i have problems with the watermark when i've had multiple packages even tho the plugin is activated, Newblue have been quite good with me with assistance tho, so if you log in, your activation code/s should be there, & downloads, if reinstall etc. doesn't work get in touch with them,

There's 2 files in the BIN File section that you can delete in C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\19.0 , this will force Vegas to reload your plugins, next time Vegas opens it will recreate these files so no harm done.

Contact NewBlue support at support at newblueinc.com and you account can be checked to see exactly what product you have installed. If, as I suspect, it's an older bundled product, that would be why you're getting a watermark. If it's not, knowing what product is installed will help resolve the situation.

Alternately, post a screenshot of the NewBlue Application Manager (you can black out your serial numbers) to show what product(s) you have installed.

I am showing that Film Color was a part of the VEGAS Pro 14 bundle, though.

Hey.. thanks @Former user... I was having a different problem but related, with red X's through many of the "samples" on my VFX .. from your post I found the folder and just deleted everything in the VideoFX subfolder... problem seems solved (didn't really delete, just moved until I saw things working OK) as it rebuilds the icons on-demand.
