Hello,
I'm looking for advices what settings should I use for my videos to provide them the best possible quality in YouTube.
Of course, there are tons of tutorials for rendering in different resolutions but I haven't found the one I use.
The video files, I import to Vegas, are recorded by Fraps and got resolution 1280x960. I want my videos to be displayed as 1080p in YouTube and also keep 4:3 ratio, so for rendering I use following settings:
And here are my project properties:
I just clicked "Yes" for question "Do you want ot set your project video settings to match this media?"
Everything is OK till the moment I can see this video uploaded in YouTube - its quality is pretty bad. I know that YT process each video and quality will never be as good as it is in original file, but I feel I do something wrong, because quality loss is larger than in other people' videos.
For example, if I download from YouTube any 1080p gameplay, I see in properties it has bit rate around 3.5 Mbps. When I download mine - bit rate is around 2.7 Mbps. So the difference is noticeable.
Here's my video - it doesn't look good:
So could someone tell me what should I do, to make a quality of my videos better than that? As I mentioned, it's all about quality in YouTube. Thanks in advance.
PS
I'm not sure this forum displays my images in right size, so I also post links:
