Yes there has. In your Video you go to great lengths in describing how you MUST create Titles prior to any working - your 4 Samples. That's different.

That’s not correct. If you listen to my video again, you will hear me say, and I quote “Now, once the title list has been populated with the titles on the Vegas Pro timeline, they need saving. They can either be saved now, or at the end of the session”. I also say later on, “I normally do this before I do any work on the titles, to make sure that they’re all saved”. The operative phrase here is “I normally”. This is my choice. You don’t need to do this. You can create your title(s) from scratch then save them when you exit the session. My choice is to save the titles before I start work on them so I know they are saved. If you leave the saving until the end of the session, you will be prompted to save them one at a time. Since all the titles will have the default name Title, you won’t know which title you’re saving as you’re saving them.

Your second point. Again, this is incorrect. The procedure for creating lower thirds where you have 2 text elements, one with, say a name, and the second with a job title is fundamentally exactly the same as with TP6. In fact, TP7 introduced an improvement to this. With TP6, an added text element, needed to be declared as a variable under the Global tab before it could be used for this purpose. TP7 allows you to add a variable text element which is automatically declared as a variable.

A chosen variable Name? Ugh . . . .

Again, you don’t need to choose a variable name. Changing the default variable name makes it easier when you are filling in the variable fields under the Scene tab. However, you can leave the variable names as default if you want.

Thank you, but this is nothing I did in previous versions AND the saviong complexity is still beyond me.

How can the saving complexity be beyond you? You save the titles just like you save any other file. That’s it. Once done for any given title, it doesn’t need re-doing. How on earth can that be complex?

More changes? OMG . . .

Of course there are changes. It wouldn’t be a new version if there weren’t changes.

Only just how little I comprehend.

@Jack S - Thanks for your feedback. I need to carefully and calmly ingest your patient directions and deconstruct my NBTP6 methods and reconsruct them around NBTP7.

Again, thank you.

I really should look at upgrades to my NB plugins. Upgraded from vp12 to 16 this year after a very long wait and never got round to installing newblue. I didnt want to put the older versions I had before with my now super stable install and never got around to seeing what upgrades were available. Flash remover almost made me look as I had a video where the flash was actually a distraction.

@mintyslippers ,

Yes, please check out our website when you get a chance. A lot of the classic plugins are still available, but we've reorganized them into more useful categories instead of just the old Video Essentials I, II, III, etc.

We've also added a monthly subscription option to our TotalFX collection which includes all our current effects, transitions, and Titler Pro 7:

The whole world has become obsessed with subscriptions. I am one who will not be paying monthly. They all add up

@mintyslippers ,

Well, the option is there for those who want it. Our products are all still available to be purchased outright.

Marcus Johnson please fix the issue of when i exit Titler 5 or 6 and Undo an action it affects Titler and undos what i did in the Titler. Also many times when i do this and reopen the project the title resets to the default one like when create a new title inside it and deletes my original title..

Hi @arthur7 ,

Just to make sure I understand, you're talking about Vegas's Undo function? Are you using Undo immediately after exiting Titler, or have you performed other actions in Vegas after exiting Titler but before using Undo?

It doesn't matter, both ways and i have to exit Vegas and reload the project to make sure my title isn't changed. Also forgot to mention when i export/render to MAGIX H264 mp4 file in 1080p 25fps the title makes weird flickering! I use a laptop with W10 Home and i7 6720HQ with 16GB and 4K display.

Hello I have Vegas Pro 17 and I also have Titler Pro 7. Integration seems to be fine until I noticed using it within the timeline. Now standalone is great but I rather use it within the timeline. What's happening is after I click save the project to see it in my timeline it has a tendency to say Scrub to refresh, Could someone explain to me exactly what's happening and what can I do about it. Just so you know also I have Windows 10. thanks again for anyone's time resolving this issue.

Hi @YouTuber60 ,

When you see "scrub to refresh" that means that Titler Pro 7 is rendering your title to its cache in the background. You just need to move or "scrub" to a different point on your timeline and once the title is rendered that message will go away.

YouTuber60 wrote on 11/18/2019, 1:16 PM

Well if I try that and it does not seem to work I will reach out to you again but I hope not....thanks again

About the flickering, is it only when you export to that type of file that you see it? Would you be able to share a sample with me?

@newblue-mj

Hi Markus,

I have two pc's. One I had to replace the PSU and motherboard due to "unforeseen" issues. On this newer build, I plan to install my copy of Move Studio Platinum 16 Suite as the "Second Activation", per licensing by Magix. My question, prior to installation, is that NewBlue Titler Pro 7 Express and Supreme Package were part of the sales when I purchased MSP16S. So, currently having the aforementioned NewBlue products installed with the first activation, am I Legally allowed to install on the newer build as well? I just went back out to the NewBlue site under the FAQ's, and if going by what I saw, I can't, unless I deactivate on the first install, then activate for he second (and constantly having to do). I'm sure there are others that are also wondering, and I really don't want to constantly activate/de-activate the software. I do know that both products would be "Connected/tied to" this version of the Magix product, and have gone through that dreaded "X" watermark on using a plug-in in a project. So, just trying to be the "good citizen" and actually find out ahead of time.

Thank you.

Flickering fixed! Its from Vegas and it does this when other software runs and uses the GPU. I must exit all other programs to not have this issue.
