Help With Odd Video Offset

red-a wrote on 6/3/2017, 9:21 AM

I have been recently rendering a video, however I have noticed one video channel is off centre, and I have no idea how to fix it.

I'm sure there is a really easy way to do it, but I am unaware how.

Here is a screenshot of what is going on. https://gyazo.com/9bfc25f68feb1bf9a37901fe29a28365

As you can see, the video clips into the opposite side.

All help is appreciated

Looking further into things, it seems that this is a problem with VEGAS, not on my end.

Are there any known fixes?

I've seen a couple of reports of this recently, including the post Cornico linked to, but we don't know much about the problem yet because posters failed to reply with requested info. So please...

  1. Which version and build number of VEGAS Pro you are using?
  2. What version of Windows are you using?
  3. What graphics card do you have?
  4. What graphics card driver version are you using?
  5. How was the media generated (i.e. what camera or program) and what format/codec was used (if you know)?
  6. Do you have any choice of different formats when you record?
  7. Post the MediaInfo text report of your source media.
  8. Post the VEGAS Files Propertes of your source media (the MediaInfo guide linked above shows you how).
  9. Does the captured video file play normally in a media player such as Windows Media Player or VLC?
  10. If the media is not too large you could post a link to a sample of it, for example on Google Drive or Dropbox.
