Greetings! First post here. Vegas pro user since 9. SONY days. I saw a post about how Hybrid MP4 Videos are not updating the Chapter Markers. Well I got some great news. I found a way to add them. It's Not with Drax. This one is quicker and painless.
You will need to download MediaInfo from MediaArea's website for this one. This worked for me and I wanted to share with fellow Vegas Pro users. Thank you for your time and have a great day!
The Vegas edit window is a great mechanism to copy markers or regions back and forth between Vegas and Excel as well as between projects, even if they're in different versions of Vegas. Use it all the time to create concert track sheets and get Vegas markers into YouTube as chapter markers.
Nice that OBS created a new hybrid format to get markers into mp4 clips... hope it catches on. I usually render a wav or w64 and pull it in independently to get markers along side of mp4 clips. Sony xdcam mp4 containers supported markers and regions, albeit with mpeg2 hd encoding.
