I’m having trouble applying LUTs in Vegas Pro 23. I’ve installed the LUT plugin, but when I try to load a LUT file, it doesn’t apply or show any visible change in the video. The plugin appears in the effects list, but it seems like the LUT isn’t being recognized or processed correctly. I’ve already tried reinstalling it, but the issue persists.

How did you add the LUT to your media?

What is the LUT plugin you are using?

One idea is to move the LUT to a simpler folder c:\lut or similar and see if that helps.

@YeahCompa you can look at the lut with a text editor like notepad and see if there's anything in it. Header should look something like this, followed by 3 columns of numbers:

#Sony LookProfile LUT, SLog3SGamut3.CineToCine+709 full in full out v1.04.04
TITLE     SLog3SGamut3.CineToCine+709
LUT_3D_SIZE 65

0.040001 0.038870 0.029575
0.040001 0.038870 0.029575
0.040001 0.038870 0.029575

That particular lut occupies 7242k on my disk and continues for a total of 274,630 lines. The best way to inspect the visual effect is with the scopes display while you activate and deactivate the lut-fx or cgp-fx if you apply it there.
